Walker only came up with the bare bones id...John R. Walker only came up with the bare bones idea, I wrote the screenplay myself. Walker altered some of it but a good 97% of what appears on the screen was written by me. It was a by-the-numbers job - I delivered the screenplay that Walker asked for! A fairly painless exercise in writing.<br /><br />The film was mostly shot in Canada - in the town of Neepawa - because Walker was offered the whole town to do with as he pleased! The original idea was to shoot only some second unit stuff in the town of Amityville itself with the principle shoot taking place in the West Midlands!
